PhoneMGR consists of 3 separate programs: PhoneAssist, PhoneOperator and PhoneMgr. · PhoneAssist—For use on each employees local machine. Allows users to log in from anywhere in the network to handle the following: · Change In/Out status and provide reasons/comments for being away · View status of co-workers · Retrieve/save/delete phone messages left by managers and receptionists · Minimize to system tray when not in use with single-click functions available through system tray icon.
· PhoneOperator—For use by the receptionist to instantly get the In/Out status of any employee with a single click. Allows receptionist to leave a detailed message which they can retrieve from anywhere on the network by logging into the PhoneAssist program. It also allows the receptionist to change employees In/Out status for those times when the employee is not present to update their status.
· PhoneMgr— This is the administrative tool of the PhoneMGR Suite. It allows an administrator to create and modify user information, manage saved messages, and handle database management.
